G-QUE BARBEQUE
Reno James Engineering is pleased to announce that G-Que Barbecue’s 6th brick and mortar location in Colorado is finally open! RJE worked on this project in conjunction with Frontline Design (architect) and Frontline Construction (general contractor). G-Que Barbeque also provides concessions at Folsom Field for the University of Colorado Buffaloes.
G-Que’s newest location in Thornton was a former Wendy’s franchise. While it is common to expect that converting an old restaurant into a new one will be easy, it is more often more difficult than designing a new construction restaurant. Older equipment such as commercial cooking hoods and grease interceptors often need to be brought up to code or replaced. Stayed tuned for G-Que’s 7th location, currently under construction in Timnath, Colorado, near Fort Collins.
